If you don’t already have a Google listing for your local business, you should most definitely add one. Simply go to www.google.com/lbc and start setting up your listing. Your listing will show in Google when people search for relevant terms related to your business. They can see a map, get driving directions and much more.
Google lets you create printable coupons for your listing, so you can promote and track how people find your services and products. You can add up to 10 photos of your store or products, videos (up to 5), and of course the basics:
- Address
- Business description
- Business categories you want to be listed under
- Hours of operations
- Payment options
- And last but not least: Additional details that you can determine on the fly
You will be able to see valuable details into your business listing from your Google Local Business Center Dashboard.

You get details on:
- Activity by date range
- Actions taken (for instance, clicks for more info, driving directions, click throughs to your site,…)
- Impressions
- Top Search Queries
- Where driving directions requests came from
