This simple tutorial with help you in posting a WordPress page to your site. Again you will need to log into your admin panel: http://yourdomainname.com/locationWhereYourBlogIs/wp-login.php
WordPress Page
You have now landed in your WordPress admin which it may look similar to this:
On your site, you probably have “Pages” and “Posts” – so what is the difference? Commonly at the end of a Post you will see there might be: Posted in Site xyz category and possibly an author /contributor and date. A Page on the other hand is a static page and commonly isn’t dated or visitors probably will not be able to comment on those pages. Also when adding a page many times you can add a sub category / or category to your main menu. I you have already uploaded your images that you would like to insert into this page, continue with the following steps.
To the right of Upload/Insert you will see four icons. Mouse over them and you will notice the media upload type.
Press “Select Files” and locate the image that you would like to post.
Select the file and it will upload to the server. Once the image is uploaded, return back to your post that you were creating. If you mouse over the heading a sub menu will appear, select “edit”.
Now locate the position where you would like the image to appear. Press Upload/Insert and then the image icon. This time select “Media Library” Select the new image and place a Title and Alt Text in along with selecting the Alignment and Size. Once you select “Insert into Post”, your image is placed into your post.
Now once you have the page composed the way you want, it is a good idea to select “Preview” which will open a rendering in another window.
Now locate the “Parent” where you would like this page to be located. Then move to “Order” – you can now choose the order in which this sub-page will be listed.
Hope this helps! Happy writing *smile*
